Retreat Resources: Books

In the next couple of weeks I’d like to offer highly personalized lists of my favorite books, videos, music, and recipes for retreats or just snatches of relaxation time. I’d love to have your suggestions as well! Since I’m a reading addict, I’ll start with books:

One useful source of inspirational reading is the Unitarian Universalist Association bookstore, www.uuabookstore.org. Since Unitarian-Universalists seek wisdom from all world faiths, this bookstore stocks an eclectic interfaith collection of books: meditation, prayer, poetry, essays, theology, and spirituality.  I’m glad I don’t have one-click access here; I have enough trouble containing myself on Amazon.

Again, this list is just a sample–I’d love to hear your suggestions for books that have inspired, calmed, or healed you, or perhaps those which never fail to make you laugh.
